About the wine

Dolcetto, the everyday companion of the Piedmontese table. Violet, blueberry, black cherry and rosemary with a nutty almond note; smooth, dry tannins balance deep fruit. A medium-to-full-bodied red where floral aromas, generous fruit and soft tannins come together.

PalatePleasantly dry, with fullness coming through alongside soft tannins.

FinishA pleasant almond note on the finish.

Winemaking

VinificationTraditional fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 8–10 days (25°C). Malolactic fermentation is completed in concrete tanks before the end of November.

AgeingTwo months in large and medium oak casks (20–140 hl), then bottled and aged six months in bottle before release.

VineyardSerralunga d’Alba, 300–350 m, south-east and south-west facing; clay and calcareous marl.
