About the wine

A Langhe Nebbiolo that offers near-Barolo quality at a sensible price. Nutmeg, tobacco leaf, dried leaves, rose and plum fill the glass and grow more complex with time. A refined everyday Nebbiolo that carries the terroir of Serralunga d’Alba.

PalateSweet, appealing tannins give a velvety texture and balance.

FinishA very long, balsamic finish.

Winemaking

Ageing12 months in large and medium oak casks (20–140 hl), followed by at least 6 months in bottle.

VineyardEast-facing slopes; with less sun than south- or west-facing sites, the wine is described as having intense aromas and a spicy character.
