About the wine

A Super Tuscan-style red built on Tuscany’s traditional Sangiovese, blended with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. Deep black cherry, blackberry and plum fruit are joined by complex notes of leather and spice. Medium-to-full bodied, with soft tannins and a clean finish — bold yet balanced, shaped by Tuscan sun and soil.

Tasting notes
PalateFull, weighty and well structured; harmonious and smooth.
Winemaking
VinificationFrom the Cagliano and Vittoria vineyards at 400–450 m, harvested from mid-September to the first week of October (by hand at Cagliano; at Vittoria by machine with separation of green parts). Each variety undergoes alcoholic fermentation separately (6 days at 28–30°C, with délestage and pump-overs), followed by a further 10 days on the skins. Malolactic fermentation occurs naturally, after which the wines are blended.
