About the wine
A world-class Pinotage from Stellenbosch legend Abrie Beeslaar. Deep ruby in the glass, it unfolds layers of blackcurrant, cherry and plum alongside dark chocolate and coffee. Firm yet velvety tannins and a long, dry, elegant finish overturn every preconception about Pinotage. It will reward 5–10 years or more in the cellar.
Tasting notes
NoseCranberry, Raspberry, Crème de cassis, Brandied cherry, Oak spice, Tobacco leaf, Fynbos
PalateRich and voluptuous. Juicy plum and black cherry are supported by French oak, spice and a rustic herbal note, followed by dark chocolate, wild berries and exotic spice.
FinishIntegrated oak flavours linger on a long finish.
